Canada’s poison centres report that they receive the most calls about medications that relieve pain. Health Canada has launched toll-free number, 1-844 POISON-X, or 1-844-764-7669, in collaboration with four Canadian poison centres, to make it easier for people in Canada to access critical medical advice for poisonings.
